Here is Siah in a Bumbo, the contraption that enables babies to sit up at 2 or 3 months. Since I purchased it, the Bumbo has been recalled, but I am not sure that I want to retire it as of yet. As you see, Siah likes it.

These are my dear friends and their son. They are going into full time ministry in Altoona. We are so excited to see how God is going to use the steps of faith that they are taking right now. We took a fun walk all around the downtown area to get some pictures for one of their first newsletters. Pray for Altoona; I believe that something is stirring here.

This couple celebrate their day on the magestic Lake Raystown. Some of the highlights for me were the wedding commitment they made to their daughter during the ceremony, yummy Hawaiian food, one of the most fun dance parties that I’ve ever seen, and a fireworks display at the end.

It’s amazing. Daniella is swimming. This is one of those skills like reading and riding a bike, that just mystically happens. And at times I have wondered if it would ever happen. In the beginning of the summer, my friends and I organized a swim class for our kids. The children tolerated it. Within of each other, they all learned to swim. And now that they are swimming, we can’t get them out of the water. Watching their pure delight as they explore their new skill has been one of my favorite experiences as a parent so far. I can’t get over how happy and proud of themselves that they are. This is the face of little girl who just came out of the water laughing in utter joy. “I did it, Mom! I went under the water without crying, and I like it!”
